Tzipporah aït Salem is a 16-year-old girl from Yorkshire whose compulsive need to understand the world is matched only by her disconnection from reality. Yearning for an escape from her adoptive father's life, she has joined the ranks of an ancient and noble people known as wizards.

As she begins her first term at Grimnalghast School, she intends to discover as much about this strange, new world as she can. Follow her as she meets ghosts, robots, weird girls, and things from beyond.

Grimnalghast was previously hosted only on Dreamwidth, but now has its very own website. How thrilling. Chapter 4 is currently being worked on but writing has yet to begin. After you finish reading the existing three chapters, return here after a month or so. (Or subscribe to our RSS feed.)
